St. Peters Lutheran Church Records by Paul Miller Ruff. St. Peters Church was the earliest religious structure in Beaver County, except for the one at Economy.  It was established in 1832 by secedes from the Harmony Society.  They were the founders of Phillipsburg (now Monaca).  The church records begin in 1835 and continue to 1900.  Recently they were discovered and painstakingly transcribed from Old German script.  Included are names of the respective German villages.  Records of non-German members are also included.
